Kātyāyana

Kātyāyana is chronologically the second author in the Pāṇinian grammatical school whose work is extant. In the tradition, Kātyāyana is regarded as one of the Pāṇinian sage-triad (munitraya) enjoying high authority (the other two being Pāṇini and Patañjali).
